Twelve Bridges Jr. Rhinos

Midget Head Coach

Chris Zoccoli

My name is Chris Zoccoli, better known as Coach Z, and I’m excited to enter my third season with the Jr. Rhinos. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished over the past two seasons as back-to-back champions, and I’m fired up to compete this year in the top division in the SAC. I’m fortunate to work alongside a strong group of assistant coaches who share my passion for development, discipline, and doing things the right way. On the field, my focus is on teaching proper fundamentals while emphasizing each player’s physical and mental growth. This is a big developmental year that will help prepare our athletes for the next level, including high school football. My goal as a coach is to build confidence, respect, and accountability, not just on the field, but off of it as well. We strive to create a true brotherhood, build team morale, and most importantly, have fun playing the game. Watching players grow and progress throughout the season is the most rewarding part of coaching, and I firmly believe that hard work and dedication always pay off. When I’m not coaching, I work as a Superintendent for a large electrical union contractor. I enjoy hot rods, golfing, lifting weights, good food, and spending time with my wife Stefanie and our kids, Nicko and Gia. I’m honored to be part of such a great organization and proud to lead the Jr. Rhinos. Go Rhinos!

Jr.Midget Head Coach

Chris Boden

My name is Chris Boden and I'm excited to be your Jr Rhino Jr Midget Head Coach. This is my 4th year coaching for the Jr Rhino’s, and I have coached a variety of youth sports over the last 8 years. Notably, I served as Head Coach for the 2024 Pee Wee football team, leading them to an undefeated season and a championship title. Football has been a lifelong passion since I laced up my first pair of cleats. I learned more than just X’s & O’, I discovered the lifelong rewards that come from hard work, dedication, and perseverance, lessons only football can truly provide.

My coaching philosophy emphasizes proper fundamentals, skill development, and individual growth. I want each player to leave the field feeling accomplished, whether it's mastering a new technique, making a key play, or simply growing stronger together as a team. Seeing my players build skills, confidence, and camaraderie, both on and off the field, is the most rewarding part of being a coach.

When not on the field, I focus on my career in Wholesale Commercial Insurance. I enjoy fishing, playing golf, and spending time with my wife, Sara, and our two children, Ashley and Dean. It's an honor to be part of these young athletes' journeys, and I'm excited to pass on my love for the game to the next generation. Let’s go Rhinos!

Pee Wee Head Coach

Nathan Richmond

I am excited to be heading into my fourth season as a Jr. Rhino Head Coach. Last season I was the Pee Wee Head Coach and the 2 seasons prior to that I was the Jr. Pee Wee Head Coach. My number one priority is player safety on and off field. I believe in instilling the proper fundamentals and techniques as well as teaching the valuable life lessons that come through the game of football. Along with coaching for the Jr. Rhinos, I have also coached Lincoln flag football as well as football, baseball and basketball at various levels. I began playing football in Jr. Pee Wee’s and continued through the youth levels. I attended Del Oro High School and received 1st team All League Honors. I continued football in college at Azusa Pacific University. For 8 years, I proudly represented the firefighters in the Guns vs Hoses Pig Bowl game and was awarded Most Valuable Player as well as inducted into the Pig Bowl Hall of Fame. I work as a firefighter/paramedic for the Sacramento Fire Department. I live in Lincoln with my wife of 14 years and 4 children. It is a blessing to be able to be a part of this great Jr. Rhino family and I look forward to the opportunity of coaching your young athletes!

Jr. Pee Wee Head Coach

Joe Morgan

My name is Joe Morgan; I am excited for this upcoming season. I have coached sports at multiple levels, including Lincoln Little league, Lincoln Soccer, AAU Basketball, Flag Football, and Tackle Football with the Junior Rhinos Jr Midgets, and Midgets levels. I am very excited to get to coach at Jr. Peewee level and get to be involved in these young players' first taste of the game.

I coach with this old quote in mind "Players don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care" My coaching philosophy is built around development, safety, and creating a positive experience for young athletes. At the 2nd–4th grade age group, the goal is not win-at-all-costs football, but rather teaching the fundamentals of the game, building confidence, and helping players develop a lifelong love for football. At this age, I measure success through improvement, effort, and enthusiasm. I want your young player to come home with improved skills, but more than that a lifelong love of football.

I am excited to move up to the highest level of the Sierra Athletic Conference. I am sure the players are capable of stepping up to this next level. The competition will be tough, but it is exactly the challenge we need as a program. We will rise to it.

When I am not coaching, I spend my time with my wife watching my older son play football for the Rhinos at the HS, and my Daughter Cheering for the Jr Rhinos. Whenever I get the chance, I am Scuba Diving anywhere with warm water and beautiful underwater life. If you ever ask, I will talk your ear off about shark diving, and how sharks are fun to swim with and are misunderstood creatures. I look forward to meeting all of you
